All three of these women lost their husbands in different ways, and have found their new lives in very different ways. You would expect this to be a universal experience, since half of all life-long relationships will experience it. However, It is multi-faceted, and there will never  be a one-size-fits-all approach to preparing for it, or surviving the aftermath undaunted.
